Construction Imaging provides legal Optical Storage through Plasmon and HP
Don't miss this point...it may be the most important set of words you read today:
The primary method of data storage recommended by our competitors might not hold up as evidence in court
The legality of imaging is very important. For an image to be used in court in place of an original,it must be written on a media that can not be changed and there must be a standard procedure for handling of the documents. Most Construction Imaging customers shred the originals after about two weeks. They are stacked face-down in a box after scanning and kept until shredding.
Construction Imaging provides both HP and Plasmon standalone optical disks and jukeboxes. One optical disk of 30 gig now holds the equivalent of fifty four--drawer filing cabinets. A 24-platter jukebox (holding twenty-four optical disk with a retrieval arm for placing in the drive) and two optical drives for backup can store the equivalent twelve hundred four-drawer filing cabinets. Jukeboxes holding up to two hundred and fifty-six platters are also available.
Construction Imaging uses EMC DiskXtender software that allows the image to be written to optical immediately on entering the system as well as caching the images on the server for immediate inquiry. It also provides for encryption of the images.
Construction Imaging also offers on-site maintenance for the optical drives and jukeboxes through the same nationwide imaging service organization used for scanners.
